Mountain View is home. Our office is at 800 West El Camino Real, so calls anywhere in the city are short runs — north to Monta Loma and the Google campus, east past Rex Manor toward the Sunnyvale line, south to Waverly Park and Blossom Valley, and everything along Castro Street and Shoreline Boulevard in between. The city's garages tell its history. Monta Loma, between San Antonio Road and Rengstorff Avenue, holds one of the best-preserved mid-century tracts in the valley — Eichler's Fairview homes alongside Mackay and Mardell houses — with low roofs and little headroom over the door. Rex Manor's 1960s ranches sit on quiet streets that do not run through anywhere. Waverly Park, built in phases on old apricot and prune orchards from the 1960s to the 1980s, has larger houses and heavier doors. Each of those needs a slightly different door, spring and opener.

🌊 What Mountain View Garage Doors Are Up Against
Because we are based here, Mountain View calls are usually the fastest we run. North of Central Expressway, around Monta Loma and North Bayshore, salt air off the marshes and grit on the afternoon wind wear rollers and hinges early, so sealed rollers and coated hardware go on by default. Rex Manor's cul-de-sacs make for a quick, quiet visit. In Waverly Park the two- and three-car doors on 1970s and 1980s houses have usually been repainted and insulated over the decades, which adds weight the original springs were never wound for.
A lot of Mountain View garages now hold a charger, a workbench and a desk, so we book around working hours and keep test cycles short when someone is on a call next door.
