About Hamilton Garage Door Repair Expert of Shoreline

Hamilton of Shoreline is the garage door crew working out of 800 West El Camino Real in Mountain View — answering around the clock for the Peninsula's edge of the valley.

We take the name from Shoreline: the boulevard, the park on the bay and the old district that grew up along it. That is the territory we know best — the Craftsman cottages behind Castro Street, the 1950s ranches around Cuesta Park, the Whisman townhomes beside the light rail and the long Eichler streets that run from Monta Loma into Palo Alto and west Sunnyvale.

Most of what we do is repair: springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers and sections, put right on the first visit because the truck carries the parts these houses actually use. We also fit new doors and openers, and we are as careful with a 1920s detached garage off a shared driveway as with a three-car rebuild in Los Altos.

The rules are simple. A person answers the phone, day or night. You get one exact price in your driveway before any work starts, and nothing is added afterwards. The door is balanced, safety-tested and cycled before we leave, and we tell you plainly when a repair is the sensible answer and a new door is not.
